Resources for Older Adults
For everyone at South Metro Fire Rescue, our calling is to take care of our citizens like they were members of our own family. In addition to providing emergency services, we know the importance of investing in prevention, and we are committed to ensuring all the older adults in our district extend the healthy, active years of their lives. Part of this includes staying educated on the factors that increase your risk of illness or injury. While we offer a wide range of classes and events for all ages, our district goal is to help our older adults remain safe, active, and independent by providing free community education on top risks. Visit our older adult resource hub for information on classes, events, and aging resources.

Wildfire Community Preparedness
At South Metro Fire Rescue, we want you to understand the wildfire risk where you live and learn how to prepare.
Don't know where to start? We have created a self-guided Wildfire Home Assessment survey to help you determine the level of wildfire risk for your home. It only takes a few minutes to complete and is a great place to start.
Sign up for alerts! Reverse 911 notifications will notify you of emergencies and natural or man-made disasters, such as missing persons, law enforcement activity, evacuation notices, and more.
